Branche is a study on rhythm and playing techniques, which was written to highlight the inventiveness of a very young violinist while helping him control his movements, thanks to the musical feedback from electronics. In this work, there are many playing techniques? They form a kind of melody, timbres, and gestures: a true choreography for the violin or viola! The electronics respond to the instrumentalist with reprises of his sounds, lively and always surprising.
