?Little World Tour in Double Stops is a modern and enjoyable method for effectively practicing double stops. It is intended for violinists who already have some experience (2nd cycle level) and can be used over several years thanks to a structured progression.
This collection contains more than 50 short and motivating pieces. They are all presented in the form of duets that can be played with your teacher or violinist friends. The included audio files allow for demanding, effective, but also very enjoyable personal practice.
A true musical journey is offered: setting out to discover folklores from around the world (South America, Celtic countries, French repertoire, and other surprises?) but also finding well-known themes from great composers (Mozart, Beethoven, Corelli, Smetana?)!
This collection mainly uses the 1st position, then gradually some other positions. It covers all types of intervals up to the octave and simultaneously offers a serious introduction to harmonic accompaniment (finding your own double stops from chord names).
Many clear tips help the violinist develop a keen harmonic awareness as well as a fine ear for the tuning of their instrument.
