Norwell, MA January 2017 - Vic Firth Co., the world's largest and leading manufacturer of drumsticks and mallets, reveals a newly updated Carter Beauford signature stick.
A founding member of Dave Matthews Band and truly one of the best-known drummers in the world, Carter Beauford brought his immense talent to Vic Firth five years ago in search of the perfect pair. Creating a versatile stick was an absolute must for this man who is known for his ability to adapt to a variety of genres.
“For years, drummers around the world have told us how much they love the balance and adaptability of Carter’s stick,” states Neil Larrivee, Vice President of Education and Drumstick Product Development. “But if there’s one request we hear time and time again, it’s for a version with a natural grip.
