The Doom Hammer Fuzz packs a punch: dense, brutal, and enveloping saturation, inherited from the great riffs of the 90s. It all started in Way Huge's original garage lab in 1998, when Jeorge Tripps modified a 1978 op-amp fuzz circuit for the band Oranger. Sought after for its less pronounced midrange dip, Tripps refined his design to achieve tighter bass and more reliable live performance. Years later, he designed a handful of prototypes based on this original modified version—and these would become the basis for the Doom Hammer Fuzz. The Output, Tone, and Fuzz controls allow you to tailor the pedal's velvety harmonics to your setup. Try a low Fuzz setting for a tasty crunch, and crank it up for rich, organic saturation.
