Descrição

The Chandler Limited TG2 Pre Amp/DI is a recreation of the rare EMI TG12428 preamp used in EMI/Abbey Road recording and mastering consoles in the late 1960s and early 1970s. This sound was used on many famous recordings made at Abbey Road, including the Beatles' "Abbey Road" and Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon."

This microphone preamplifier features the same discrete transformer-balanced amplifiers as the TG series limiter and delivers a creamy, smooth sound with surprisingly open and clear highs. The sound, as many users describe, has "warmth" and punch, but with a "beautiful" extended top end. In fact, the unit features a slight increase in its high-end frequency response and some warmth-inducing distortion, which contribute to its sound.

Features:
- Dual mono mic preamp/DI box

- Input impedance: 1200 to 300 Ohms
- Switchable phase inversion per channel
- Switchable +48 V phantom power per channel
