But also because, in its major or minor form, the II-V-I cadence gives the opportunity to work "in situation" on the accompaniment of the different types of essential chords which are the seventh chord (7), the major 7 chord (maj7), the minor 7 chord (m7) and finally the half-diminished chord (m7b5). This method will therefore be ideal for perfecting your knowledge of the bass, but also for developing your creativity and making your lines both rich and melodic (accompaniment with the notes of arpeggios, use of diatonic passing notes, integration of chromatisms, etc.). In short, by becoming an expert in II-V-I, you will become an expert in bass!
