The 5 P model of Alhambra guitars is close to the 4 P model. The body construction is modified to provide greater robustness and retains characteristic details such as the four layers of varnish, the ebony fingerboard, higher quality tuners, and the use of beautiful Indian rosewood for the sides and back.
A set of features that make the 5P model a guitar adapted to the interpretation of a multitude of musical styles, comfortable, with good sound and responsiveness.
For the construction of the 5 P model body and the soundboard, which is the most influential element in the guitar's sound, a design composed of seven braces was used, including two in the lower part. This detail allows for a more resistant and lighter instrument, as well as improving the sound by giving it more shape, warmth, and richness.
For the bridge saddle and the nut, melamine was used, a material that transmits sound very well. A sound that could be described as more defined, melodic, and with a consistent tone across the entire fingerboard. The quality of the sound of the first three strings at the 12th fret is an example of this.
The interesting features of the 5 P model make it a guitar suitable for interpreting a multitude of musical styles, which is why it is also available in Cut Away (CW) format, to have greater accessibility to the lower part of the fingerboard, and in Narrow Body (CT) to improve playing in a vertical position.
Furthermore, this instrument offers several size options, as well as the possibility of being built for left-handed players.
