This model was the first mass-produced four-string bass to feature active equalization. Music Man’s flagship, the current StingRay is the same as it was about forty years ago and therefore benefits from solid construction, a massive hardened steel bridge, an elegant oval pickguard, and the famous Music Man humbucker pickup.
