Instrument purchased after reading quite a few positive reviews and which will accompany my main bass (Fender PB with humbucker pickups).
I must say I was surprised by the sound of the pickups, which is slightly overdriven but still very clear and bright (maybe also due to new strings), it's perfect for playing rock/punk in my opinion (Offspring, Muse, Nirvana, Slash, ...).
However, I also play quite a bit of metal/Hard Rock with my band and there it's less obvious, the basses are not deep enough for my taste for this kind of music (Metallica, ACDC, Black Sabbath, ...).
Otherwise, the neck is great, very smooth, no grip, it's a delight for the hand. The tuning machines are super precise and the color is top-notch.
In summary, a very good bass but not for all styles.... (Show more)
