35" scale neck for better B string tone and tight, deep lows
Equipped with Lakland hand-wound LH3 pickups and an onboard preamp Also available in Standard and Deluxe models
The LH3 pickups (wound in our Chicago workshop) and the onboard preamp are the same components you’ll find in our legendary USA 55-94 series. (powered by a single 9-volt battery, easily replaceable by removing a simple clip-on battery cover — no screws to lose!) Internal switches allow selection of midrange boost/cut frequency.
The neck has the same 35" scale, profile, and specifications as our USA 55-94 series, which has won over many professionals thanks to its excellent feel, string spacing, and especially a B string with tight, punchy clarity that blends perfectly with the other 4 strings.
