35" scale neck for better B string tone and tight, deep lows
Equipped with Lakland hand-wound LH3 pickups and an onboard preamp Also available in Standard and Deluxe models
The LH3 pickups (hand-wound in our Chicago workshop) and the onboard preamp are the same components you’ll find in our legendary USA 55-94 series. (powered by a single 9-volt battery, easily replaceable by removing a simple clip-on battery cover — no screws to lose!) Internal switches allow selection of midrange boost/cut frequency.
The neck has the same 35" scale, profile, and specifications as our USA 55-94 series, which has won over many professionals thanks to its excellent feel, string spacing, and especially a B string with tight, punchy clarity that blends perfectly with the other 4 strings.
