The history of Jupiter

The story of Jupiter began in 1930. That year, the company KHS International (the parent company of the brand) decided to enter the field of manufacturing educational and cultural products. This choice reflects the company's initials, "Kong Hsue Sheh," which means "a company dedicated to education and culture." This ambition is still very much alive for Jupiter today.

In 1980, the Jupiter wind instrument range was born in an factory located about fifty kilometers from Taipei, the capital of Taiwan. The attention and care given to even the smallest details have become a way of life in these manufacturing workshops. From design to completion, each Jupiter saxophone, clarinet, flute, and brass instrument is a true blend of creativity and technical expertise. With its precision equipment and the skill of its technicians, the Jupiter brand has become an essential name in the world of woodwind and brass instrument manufacturing.

Today, Jupiter enjoys growing success among students and their teachers, who are drawn to the brand's instruments that combine quality and accessibility. These strengths allow the brand to assert its presence in all the major global markets.

By collaborating with professional musicians, the brand regularly develops new patented products worldwide, such as the "Goutte d'eau" flutes or the Ergonomic trombones. To further enhance music learning and playing, Jupiter has no intention of stopping there. For several years, the brand has also offered intermediate and professional ranges, and promises a wealth of ingenious new products in the coming years.

Regardless of budget or skill level, musicians will find the right instrument for them within Jupiter's wide range: rich sound, reliable and durable instruments that comply with environmental standards and meet various criteria, including ISO 9001 certification.
