Thanks to this protection in flexible material which adapts to all forms of oboe and Bb clarinet support, you will prevent the formation of calluses and will guarantee a soft contact between your thumb and your instrument. It does its job well but it should have been indicated that the adjective "large" referred to the size of the mortise and therefore the thumb support on the instrument and not the width of the plastic support and its adaptation to the size of the user's hands.
