The Shure IntelliMix P300-IMX serves as the dedicated audio processor for modern meeting rooms, where voice quality is as important as the image. Designed to integrate seamlessly with Microflex solutions, it connects room microphones, the Dante audio network, and videoconferencing solutions by centralizing the essential processing for clear capture. The P300-IMX is intended for integrators, IT/AV departments, and room operators who want to secure reliable meeting audio: boardrooms, training rooms, hybrid spaces, connected classrooms, or small videoconference control rooms. It is particularly suitable for environments that alternate between computer, smartphone, and Dante network use, thanks to its versatile inputs/outputs. If your priority is intelligible voice without "pumping," hiss, or echo, this processor provides a solid foundation while remaining easy to administer remotely.
Videoconferencing imposes specific constraints: acoustic echo from loudspeakers, ambient noise (ventilation, projector, traffic), varying distance to the microphone capsule, and level differences between speakers. The P300 integrates Shure IntelliMix DSP algorithms with 8 echo cancellation (AEC) blocks, 8 noise reduction (NR) blocks, and 8 automatic gain control (AGC) blocks on eight of the ten Dante input channels. The result: more stable, intelligible speech that is less tiring to listen to on the remote side.
At the heart of the system, the P300-IMX relies on Dante to transport audio over the network while remaining compatible with "workstation" use via USB. It also offers a 3.5 mm TRRS connection for mobile devices, convenient for certain BYOD configurations or backup scenarios. Integration is designed for speed: a single Ethernet cable can handle Dante, control, and power (PoE+), reducing cabling and accelerating deployment.
Programming and management are done via Designer software to streamline deployment and operation. The compact chassis allows discreet installation under tables or on walls using the included bracket, and rack mounting is possible with an optional accessory. Finally, Zoom and Teams certification and announced soft codec compatibility facilitate integration into the most common collaboration environments.
