The Laney LA30D is a 30W RMS dual-channel acoustic amplifier combo, ideal for performance and rehearsals.
The LA30D builds on Laneys 50 years of amplifier manufacturing history to deliver versatility, portability, and reliability for players at all levels, from the rehearsal room to the stage.
Weighing 7.4 kg (16.3 lbs), the LA30D is compact yet powerful for performance. A true linear output power of 30 watts is paired with a pair of 6.5-inch custom-designed drivers. These speakers feature a unique dual-cone design that provides full, natural acoustic sound reproduction with plenty of high-end sparkle.
Two independent input channels both offer the choice of balanced XLR or unbalanced inputs and can be assigned to reverb as needed. This flexibility allows connection of a microphone and an instrument, two different acoustic instruments, or even a mix of microphone and separate instrument connections from the same instrument.
Additionally, with an extra auxiliary input for backing tracks, the LA30D is ideal for acoustic guitar + vocal performances.
The Instrument channel offers useful tone shaping via a three-band EQ as well as a Shape control for instant one-touch optimization of electro-acoustic guitar sounds. Variable chorus and/or reverb effects are available to further enhance the sound without the need for external effects units.
Chorus is visibly activated by a green LED which then pulses to indicate the LFO (low-frequency oscillator) rate. This rate can also be adjusted by simply holding down the Chorus switch and turning the reverb control knob. Releasing the Chorus switch stores the rate, which will even be recalled on the next power-up.
A simple but highly effective anti-feedback button can be activated to automatically search for and eliminate unwanted feedback. A phase switch is also available to cancel destructive interference that can occur when a player is too close to the amplifiera simple one-button switching solution.
Phantom power is permanently available on both XLR inputs for use with condenser or dynamic microphones.
A balanced direct output allows direct, microphone-free connection to a mixing console or powered speaker system for larger performance situations.
