The LR Baggs Element Active VTC combines a piezo pickup placed under the bridge and a Class A jack preamp. Within the Element range, the VTC (Volume and Tone Control) version stands out by adding a dedicated internal adjustment: you can quickly adjust the output level and brightness (treble) depending on the venue, fingerstyle or pick playing, while maintaining a clean and discreet installation.

The controls placed at the edge of the soundhole, on the inside face allow you to adapt the sound on the fly, without relying solely on an external preamp.
The piezo sensor is positioned under the saddle to capture string energy as closely as possible. The jack preamp installs in the hole where the original strap button was and also serves as the strap button. Note: depending on the guitar, installing the jack may require enlarging the existing hole. The two knobs (volume and treble) attach inside, at the edge of the soundhole: accessible control but visually discreet. The size of the Element Active is designed to fit various string spacings and saddle widths, ensuring coherent integration on many acoustic models.
