Grenadilla, with mid leg and triple key mi / fa / fa sharp
Harmonic recorders: Mollenhauer & Nik Tarasov / Joachim Paetzold
Power and ability to impose yourself: with a sound like this, you can finally assert yourself in the company of modern orchestral instruments or with a piano. It doesn't matter if you play in a pop, folk or jazz group, with a string orchestra or in a piano trio - this flute will not escape anyone's eye!
An ambitus that extends into the third octave: the easy intonation, the chromatic flexibility and the enormous ambitus far exceed the models of the past.
Familiar fingering: the Alto Moderne uses the usual “baroque fingering”. It is only for the notes of the third octave that new fingerings will be necessary.
SYNPOR stopper: Synpor, a synthetic material that imitates wood, has the property of absorbing moisture from the breath thanks to its micropores. As it does not swell, the cap retains the same dimensions even after prolonged use.
The mid-paw - more than just a semitone: the lengthening of the flute's foot and an additional key allow a broadening of the ambitus by a semitone down to the low E1 as well as a range additional alternative fingerings and trill combinations.
The ambitus: E '- E flat' '' ', the = 442 Hz
Choose the Voicing of your Modern Viola!
Voicing is a fine harmonization of the stopper and the whistle blower channel by means of which the postman makes fundamental decisions relating to the sound and function of the instrument.
