The second generation of Tangent's award-winning Ampster BT amplifier is a small, conveniently sized amplifier packed with a multitude of features for various home and commercial applications. By combining your Tangent Ampster BT II amplifier with good quality speakers, such as the Tangent Spectrum X4 or X5s, the result is amazing audio reproduction and optimal for the size and price of the system.
Wireless or wired connection
You can stream your music from your smartphone, tablet, or computer directly to the Ampster BT II amplifier wirelessly via Bluetooth, or by connecting your device using an AUX cable. Digital and analog line inputs, a subwoofer output, and a USB charging port are also provided.
Bluetooth wake-up and multiroom compatibility
With the second generation BT II, you no longer have to worry about turning off your amplifier. It goes into standby when the music stops during Bluetooth playback and wakes up automatically when you resume playback. Additionally, the Ampster BT II can be woken from standby by the AUX minijack input, allowing you to connect most multiroom or network systems. For example, add a Chromecast Audio, an AirPort Express, or other Wi-Fi devices to the AUX input – the Tangent Ampster BT II will then turn on as soon as you start playing on your network. Note that the Ampster must automatically go into standby while set to the chosen source to use the wake-up function. If you turn it off manually, the wake-up on Bluetooth or AUX is not active.
A mini amplifier with big sound
The new Tangent Ampster BT II fits seamlessly into Tangent's new mini system. By combining the Tangent Tuner II and CD II, you can enjoy a complete and compact HI-FI system with top-notch audio quality and performance. Each Ampster BT II, Tuner II, and CD II is narrower than an A4 sheet of paper and only 7 cm high, making the system just 21 cm high when stacked! Thus, the small size of each component takes up less space in the living room, kitchen – or wherever you enjoy your music.
One remote for all
The remote control of the Tangent Ampster BT II also controls the Tuner II and CD II. So, when the three components are stacked together or placed separately, each remote can be used to control all components. You can also choose to use only one remote and store the other two! Another useful feature of this second generation Ampster BT is an infrared input. This allows you to place the Tangent Ampster BT II where it is not possible to operate it with its remote control. Simply place the supplied infrared eye in a location where the remote can reach it, then connect the cable to the external infrared input on the rear panel.
