The OB-6 Desktop is an analog synthesizer with a VCO sound generator and a maximum polyphony of 6 voices, designed to deliver a rich, dynamic, and organic sound. Each voice has an LFO, and the architecture relies on an ADSR envelope to precisely shape attacks, decays, and releases. Going beyond pure analog, it integrates 6 high-quality digital effects, very practical for finalizing a patch without external gear. On the performance and composition side, the instrument features an arpeggiator and a sequencer, and remains very expressive thanks to velocity and aftertouch. Finally, the Poly Chain function allows linking two OB-6 units to reach 12 voices of polyphony, a powerful option for dense arrangements and complex pads.
