The sound architecture relies on two multi-waveform analog oscillators per voice, paired with a 4-pole resonant low-pass filter and analog amplifiers, with dedicated filter and amplitude envelopes. Modulation is based on a multi-waveform LFO and the famous Poly Mod, which allows routing the filter envelope and oscillator B to several key destinations (including filter cutoff, oscillator A frequency, and pulse width). The "Rev" selector offers a choice between the authentic Prophet-5 Rev1/2 and Rev3 filter characters, while the Vintage knob introduces realistic variations from voice to voice (oscillators, filters, envelopes, amplifiers) to recapture the feel of the historic machines, ranging from very stable behavior to a more "capricious" rendering.
