Stable, hygienic, solid, better than reed. Try it if you don't believe me!

strength 2 that I use with a 5RV mouthpiece: good power, a certain brightness, ease of emission (including in the upper register), playable instantly: however, it does not give the depth of real reeds. The strength is indicated on the reed with a small sticker that will soon come off.... after that, we will have to see the durability for it to be somewhat cost-effective (at least 3 to 6 months), but I can't say for now. For now, I find that it has softened a bit, which surprised me a little. A small drawback: it tends to slip when positioning it on the mouthpiece, so it is less easy to adjust than a classic reed; the fact that it is a bit translucent does not help either. Is this a beginner's reed??
