A USB and/or Lightning interface with 2 XLR inputs with Phantom +48V (with at least +45 dB of gain, even if in practice before saturation starts you can count more on +30 to +35 dB in real field conditions) mobile audio essential under iOS, for vloggers, people on the move for activities like in my case, interfacing quality audio preamplifiers with FiLMiC Pro for example, it allows me to quickly do sound mockups before bringing out more equipment for professional recording later. It is well built, well thought out, we will see over time how it holds up, it is compact, very satisfied with this purchase. The USB or Lightning connection is completely transparent, recognized, and integrated with iOS, for once it really is a pleasure!!! It also exists in IRIG PRO IO not duo, I do not regret this purchase, a really useful, light, compact, reliable, easy, and high-performing product for daily travel use. One detail, IK MULTIMEDIA could have upgraded the interface up to 24 bits at 96 kHz, they know how to do it on other products in their range, too bad.

Very intuitive

Directly and very easily usable with a Mac, an iPad or an iPod, for example, it provides a very decent sound for a very compact size. The balanced outputs should allow us to access the professional world. I have not yet connected a microphone, but the batteries to allow 48V phantom power on the go is a plus. The lightness of the product does not seem to prevent a certain solidity, time will tell.
