I am convinced by plastic reeds. The first contact was a bit disappointing in terms of sound compared to traditional reeds. In fact, I slightly changed my embouchure and found my sound. After that, we're good for a while, no risk of breakage and they are very stable, insensitive to the weather. I think I kept the first one for a year on my baritone (but I don't play much). I knew it was dead when it started to warp! I steamed it once to get me by! But after that, it was over, it had to be changed.
