The HR* series
The HR* is an ebonite saxophone mouthpiece designed for professionals and students seeking a versatile traditional mouthpiece. High quality control standards, a beautiful warm sound, and a free-blowing feel make these new mouthpieces amazing players.
Three goals in creating the HR* series of saxophone mouthpieces:
- Offer the most traditional style of jazz saxophone mouthpiece in ebonite
- Create a free-blowing saxophone mouthpiece that allows the lowest and highest notes to be expressed with equal ease
- Create an ebonite saxophone mouthpiece that can sound beautiful but also provide strong projection when needed
The HR* produces a beautiful, warm sound with great ease of response. This ebonite saxophone mouthpiece features a medium-sized round chamber. The HR* is suitable for Traditional Jazz, Big Band, Straight-Ahead, and Bebop, but also has enough power for more modern styles.
