Looking for a small compact portable amp that works on battery or mains power. My choice was directed towards this little Blackstar, simple to use with a reverb and a more than acceptable delay, a headphone jack and mp3 Line out, and not to forget the very practical Bluetooth for backing tracks since the sound is managed only on your phone, so the guitar sound is adjusted on its own volume knob, which is appreciated!! Don't be fooled by its small size and its speaker that only delivers 3 watts because it already sends quite a lot!!!

I chose this little Blackstar amp and don't be fooled by its size! First impression, top finish, robust design. Ideal when you don't want to bother with endless settings and bring out the big amp. For the price, it's more than acceptable, I recommend it because I'm not disappointed at all!

Excellent little pocket amp with a sound that actually resembles something. It's not super powerful but it's a 3w and obviously compared to my Fender Super 60 all-tube it's light, but the overdrive is pretty good and the echo is nice too. I tested the headphone output directly on my wife's keyboard mixer and it sounds pretty good as well. I still have to test my old GT8 multi-effect to see how it performs with a higher input.. Conclusion at this price it's awesome.

Honestly.... don't hesitate.... It only has 3w but what a sound. It's quite surprising that a small thing like this performs better than a 15 or 20 w at three times its price. Plus with Bluetooth it's ideal for working on backing tracks. So the ideal amp for not disturbing your Geraldine or for working with headphones. (And it even has delay/reverb) too bad the power supply is extra which increases the cost....
