Very very good trumpet for the price. High notes quite easy, good response to fortes and beautiful soft and full sound in the piano. The 4th valve means it is a bit heavier at the front but you get used to it. The reason for not giving 5 stars is because the slide rings are fixed, so not easy for small hands. And for my large right hand, the ring is a bit too close to the valves but holding it from behind works, and it also works well for my daughter's hand. Also, the valve buttons are slightly domed making the valves slightly slippery but you get used to it.
