- made of natural birch wood - Installation is simple: using the Allen key supplied with the Iconic Cajon (usually found on the bottom edge of the sound hole), loosen the 8 screws and insert the íon accordingly. Then tighten the screws again. The skin tension and thus the sound of the íon can be influenced. The tuning of the íon changes depending on how tightly the screws are tightened. Experiment with a quarter to half a turn per screw to see how the sound changes until you like it. Make sure that the íon is not too loose.
