The width of this strap allows for better distribution of the instrument's weight. However, the fabric is thin and has no padding effect, so the comfort gain remains limited. I especially regret that the fabric is so slippery and does not compensate at all for the imbalance found, for example, with an Epiphone or Gibson bass.
