Ihor Shamo composed the Ukrainian Suite at the age of 23. This cycle consists of four pieces inspired by Ukrainian folklore. Everything is sung and wonderfully harmonized. Ihor Shamo's piano writing is already perfect and worthy of all his works. Moreover, Vesnyanka has become the "hit" among pianists in Ukraine. However, the other three parts compete with it through melancholy, poetry, or even with more dynamic boldness.
