Aquila Sugar Classical Guitar String Set The Aquila Sugar treble strings are made from a bio-plastic derived from sugar cane. These strings are characterized by a clear sound, a lively response and a certain power. Unlike Fluorocarbon strings, Sugar strings provide excellent vibrato and allow for beautiful variations in tone in your playing depending on the positioning of your right hand.
Laboratory tests have measured a difference in power and sustain of 18% and 24% respectively compared to Fluorocarbon. A new treatment applied to these strings eliminates 90% of string rubbing sounds.
