The new FRX cymbals are designed to be played in environments where traditional cymbals are too loud (bars, weddings, theaters, music schools...). They should not be confused with Quiet Tone cymbals. Made from B20, the FRX are the equivalent of HHX/AAX. The FRX reduce unpleasant low and high frequencies perceptible to the human ear.
Excellent for the ears, for certain more acoustic music styles, or for rethinking new styles to come. The short response and sharp attack of the crash and ride cymbals allow drummers to hit the cymbal as if it were a traditional cymbal. Gone are the days of holding back! Today with the FRX, keep the same playing style as usual. The semi-open hi-hat offers a richness of sound and the openings will become a pleasure as you will be able to control it.
