The didgeridoo is a wind instrument originally used for ceremonies by Aboriginal people of northern Australia. Its construction is very simple. A tree trunk is hollowed out by termites, harvested, and finished to varying degrees, sometimes painted and occasionally with a mouthpiece added, made of beeswax. Essentially, the didgeridoo is a tube that can be played on a low note by vibrating the lips in a relaxed manner.
