Really nice Fuzz effect. A thick, raw, well-saturated sound. Metal chassis that breathes solidity. Perfect for rhythmic and solo rock. The sustain is well present.

At my age... it was time I discovered the Great Chick... :o) Great sound, very soft when staying with the Sustain (gain) around 2h. Sound quite dirty and fuzzy after 2h. if you like it, it's great, otherwise, don't overdo it. But no worries, the gain is quite strong before the sound deteriorates. Very good build. Solid case that can be used to smash the drummer's head who abuses the cymbals (for example).

I am very happy with this pedal. Not really a fuzz for me but rather a very dirty distortion. Coupled with my BB preamp I can say it produces the sound I was expecting.

Very good pedal. The sound is just incredible, even with a regular amp you get a sustain that never ends. (With a tube amp it must be even better but I'll see in a few weeks when I buy one) The casing is super solid, it's a change from plastic pedals. The use is simple, sometimes you have to search a bit to get the right sound but nothing too bad (except the sound itself). Perfect for playing White Stripes but not only. If some also play bass, it's exactly the same sound used by the bassist of Muse. I highly recommend it. I even have a friend who tried it at my place and is about to buy one.
