The new pedal from Eventide was specifically commissioned by Jack White. It is made in collaboration with his brand, Third Man Hardware. It is an octafuzz pedal enhanced with a monophonic synth. Designed to have "diabolical" sounds, it generates very powerful fuzz sounds and rather surprising synth sounds.
Synth Mix: Mix your input signal with a monophonic synth. Turn fully clockwise for a pure and terrifying synthetic sound, or counterclockwise for a blood-chilling fuzz.
Drive: Push the distortion to extreme levels, adding a layer of grit that becomes more intense after 2 PM, ensuring a sound as dirty as a horror movie in a dark alley.
Output Level: From -12 to +9 dB, find the perfect balance between terror and balance with 0 dB at 12 o'clock.
Attack: Use the filter envelope to sweep from a fast and responsive attack to a slow and anguishing rise (from 0 to 1000 ms), making your sound appear like a killer in the dark.
Resonance: Adjust the resonance of the low-pass filter, giving your notes a supernatural and unsettling quality.
Cutoff: Select the starting frequency for the filter envelope sweep, carving your place in the sonic depths.
LED Alt Button: Hold this button momentarily to modify secondary parameters.
LED Active Button: Press to toggle the filter position: Green = Filter before distortion, Red = Filter after distortion, Off = Effect disabled.
LED Octave Button: Press to toggle octave selection: Green = Upper octave only, Red = Upper octave + sub-octaves, Off = Octaves disabled.
Footswitch Active: Activates or deactivates the effect.
Footswitch Octaves: Activates or deactivates the octaves.
