Designed for 3/4 double basses with a handle length of 1060 mm (41 3/4 "), these Medium tension strings are optimized to match the vast majority of players.
The Helicore Solo double bass strings are adjusted in tension for the solo scordatura La-Mi-Si-Fa # (AEBF #) tuning, a tone above the normal tuning. They have a multi-filament core to produce a warm quality sound and obtain an excellent bow response. The special construction of the heart makes them very easy to play under the left hand.
