The supplied EMAD2 batter and resonant heads allow you to take control of the attack, definition, and sustain of your bass drum to fully customize your sound. The double-ply design of the EMAD2 bass drum batter heads includes a 7-mil film thickness and a 10-mil film thickness to maximize attack and low end.
The sustain of these heads can also be easily adjusted thanks to the two interchangeable damping rings. Additionally, the EMAD resonant heads are designed with a 10 cm offset microphone port, cut into their single 10-mil film thickness, and also feature a foam damping ring around the port’s circumference to better reduce unwanted overtones.
