RX 11 Elements is an audio restoration software in plug-in format, designed to quickly improve the quality of imperfect recordings without complicating your workflow. It is especially aimed at home studios, podcasters, videographers, musicians, and sound engineers who want to deliver clean sound even when the original take has flaws: constant background noise, clicks, electrical hum, clipping, or overly reverberant acoustics. Integrated directly into a compatible DAW, it allows you to fix problems close to the session, without multiple back-and-forths or advanced settings.
The core of the package relies on RX 11 Repair Assistant, a solution designed to address the most common restoration needs within a DAW. Depending on the source type, the assistant automatically detects problems using machine learning, then suggests appropriate processing (noise reduction, artifact correction, low-end cleanup, etc.). You remain in control: the proposed settings can be modified to tailor the result to your voice, ambiance, or acceptable artifact level in a mix.
The Voice De-noise plug-in targets background noise present in vocal recordings: preamp hiss, ventilation, computer noise, constant ambient noise. The goal is to achieve a clearer, more intelligible voice that is easier to process afterward (compression, EQ, de-essing), while avoiding the typical "underwater" effect caused by overly aggressive noise reduction.
An overly loud take, an optimistic gain setting, or an unexpected peak can cause irreversible clipping at first glance. De-clip is designed to remove distortion caused by saturated recordings and help restore a more usable waveform. This is especially useful on vocals, guitars, interviews, live recordings, or quickly shot content when retaking is not possible.
The De-click plug-in offers various algorithms to remove noise impulses, whether periodic or variable over time. It is effective on small defects often difficult to isolate: mouth clicks, microphone contacts, occasional interference, or quick artifacts that catch the ear and give an "amateur" impression to the final result.
De-hum targets background hum (often related to mains power and its harmonics). It combines a Static mode and a Dynamic mode to remove these annoying components with narrow-band filters, without overly affecting the body of vocals or instruments. The Dynamic mode can automatically clean the entire audio spectrum with up to 1024 dynamic notch filters, learning the noise profile to track its variations over time.
The De-Reverb plug-in helps reduce reverb from a take recorded in an overly "live" room: bedroom, office, living room, untreated space. By attenuating excessive ambiance, you get a more direct signal, easier to place in a mix, more coherent with artificial reverbs, and clearer for spoken voice.
