With its dangerous curves and superb VOS finish, this guitar is a faithfully impeccable reissue of the original 1958 Les Paul Standard. The first year to feature the iconic Sunburst, the subtly stunning grain of the maple top shines. Equally crystalline and deeply convincing are the epic tones pouring from the hand-wired Custom Bucker pickups, designed to replicate the full, guttural bark and roar of the original PAF Humbuckers. With Hide Glue Fit assemblies, a 1950s rounded C neck profile, a bound Indian rosewood fingerboard (with slim Historic Gibson frets), and Kluson Single Line tuners, this is a demanding study in vintage verve.
