Paradoxically, the sound of the alto is less powerful than that of its little sister soprano. But it is beautiful. Unfortunately, the Eagletone FT1000 tuner purchased from Woodbrass confirms that the alto is unable to produce B notes but replaces them with B flat. I have not found an alternative fingering to play in tune, so it is impossible to give a good evaluation of this instrument.

An extraordinary flute. A full tone like a Renaissance flute, very good sound power and a virtuosity of a Baroque flute. Just incredible at this price.
