8-ply North American maple shells HVLT construction Chrome hardware True Pitch tension rods DW Remo USA heads 14x12" The DW Design series is the entry into the DW world. There are 5 different configurations in the Design series: Mini Pro, with a 16" or 18" bass drum, Frequent Flyer, the club kit with a 20" bass drum, Standard, and an Acrylic set. Except for the Acrylic set, North American maple wood is used in all kits. All wooden shells use HVLT technology. Other Pro features include Silent Block Tom mounts (STM), True Pitch tension rods, and the DW MAG snare trigger.
