The alder body provides a natural balance: full lows, clear mids, and a bright attack, perfect for cutting through a mix without harshness. The through-neck promotes longer sustain and a sense of continuity across registers, very appreciated on sustained lines and melodic passages. The wenge fingerboard enhances definition and response, with a snappy attack.
On the electronics side, the combination of active MEC P (for punch and foundation) + active MEC J (for precision and grain) offers a wide palette. The Volume / Balance / Treble / Bass controls allow quick shifts from a round, deep sound to a more cutting and defined tone, while maintaining a true modern signature.
