Thanks to MASCHINE's 16 ultra-responsive pads, playing is fun and intuitive. In Pad mode, play finger drumming beats or muffled sounds on the 16 ultra-responsive pads. Switch to Keyboard mode and play like a keyboard. In Step mode, programs sounds on the grid and automates pitch, volume, LFO, or other parameters step-by-step to achieve incredibly complex and musical results in record time.

With MASCHINE's lightning-fast browser and tag-based system, your ideas will come to life in less time than it takes to tell. With an on-board 96 kHz / 24-bit audio interface, MASCHINE makes sampling simple and fluid: record an audio clip, cut it out and sculpt it. The USB-powered surface gives you full control, while the high-resolution displays let you cut samples with pinpoint precision. Experienced beatmakers will especially appreciate the vintage sampling modes.

The Smart Strip gives you access to new ways of playing and performing. Use it as a pitch wheel to modulate sounds. Adds a new tactile dimension to Perform effects, such as stutter, echo and flanger. Or play samples, sounds and drums as if you were strumming the strings of a guitar and discovering new sound textures.
