Sound system heritage and place in the range

Rooted in sound system tradition, the pack combines the EP-40 Riddim Supertone – an evolution of Teenage Engineering’s renowned workflow – and the EP-2350 Ting microphone. It celebrates riddim culture with a bold aesthetic and a curated selection of sounds created with key genre artists, while staying true to the brand’s signature portability and instant creativity.

Who is it for?

This duo targets beatmakers, DJs and performers seeking heavy beats, roots basslines and finger-playable dub sirens. In the studio, it’s a powerful idea box for sketching riddims and versions. On stage, it enables sharp transitions, mic toasts and intuitive wash-outs, all without a computer.

Key features and innovations

At the heart of the system is the Supertone engine of the EP-40: a subtractive synthesis engine tailored for classic bass and lead lines, complemented by a pressure-sensitive dub siren. For performance, it offers loop grid-sync, live mode and punch-in effects 2.0 for real-time sound shaping. The Ting mic delivers a distinctive lo-fi texture, ready-to-use vocal FX and a modulation lever for throwing effects and triggering samples on the fly.
