My first pedal from the brand Strymon. They are certainly expensive (even very expensive!) but I feel that the price is largely justified given the sound quality and the fact that they are made in the United States, so I imagine, by people with decent working conditions. It also allows you to practice scales alone in your corner and feel like Jimi Hendrix, without bothering anyone, all thanks to a very useful headphone output. I am satisfied with this purchase and now I know that Strymon pedals are synonymous with quality.

It's really the best. Bye-bye to the PC and amp simulators (and the dreadful time wasted maintaining or tweaking them): the Iridium has everything you need, and it's operational in 1/2 second => more time for music. I use it with a Strymon Bluesky (if you're going to enjoy yourself, you might as well go all out...)

Good product, well designed, a bit disappointing compared to the settings which are a bit "light" compared to other Cab IR and preamp… but it remains a reference

Very good sound palette, small and sturdy. Sufficient connectivity. No hiss. Respects the character of the guitar. Welcome reverb. Super practical for playing at home, recording. If you're not too demanding. I specify that I play Rock i.e. Clean, Crunch, and Overdrive. I have long played on tube amps, I still own 2. At the moment I play direct PA with everything on the pedalboard. What I didn't like about the Iridium is that it's flat, lacking dynamics, brightness, and note ending. Not by much but enough not to be charmed. Better than the simulations you can find on the Helix, but below the Two notes duo, The clean + Torpedo CAB M. which remains for me the top of what I've tried to play without an amp and what I currently use. Despite these criticisms, a very endearing gear, especially for clean sounds, it hurt me to return it.... (Show more)

Too cool! Really close to an amp, nothing to say! I give 3 and I will come back to change my opinion only if Strymon gives us an EDITOR to manage the iridium. I find this absence incredible! For its price, its capabilities (fully midi, 300 presets...) compared to the competition which is twice as cheap and also comes with a free and well-made editor! Go Strymon, it's not possible!!
