Five years I've been using the first ones purchased and they work like on the first day. Reasonable price for made in EU. However, the "apple-style" packaging, anything but ecological in 2022, is unforgivable. These are parts with treated surfaces, they could be delivered in non-waterproof paper packaging, it wouldn't change the condition of the product upon delivery. It's all the more unfortunate because when I bought the first ones, two pairs at a time, they were delivered in a simple plastic bag stapled with a cardboard label. Yes to change, but in the right direction! So only 3 stars.

I installed this system on 2 guitars and a bass. It secures the strap on the guitar. Compared to other security devices already tried, this one does not unscrew from the strap thanks to a small locking screw on the "nut".

Next level!!! I already had the old models which I was satisfied with. Now, we're moving to the next level. The screw is wider so you can install these strap-locks on a Gibson Les Paul and many other guitars (all?) without any tinkering. Moreover, you can install this on a thicker strap. Finally, the large circular nut that tightens the strap has a locking screw and can be tightened by hand. The old model required a 13 socket which marked the strap retaining washer. It will be difficult for Schaller or the competition to do better. (maybe by lowering the price?) In short: perfect!
