The Meinl Sonic Energy 10" Medium Octave Steel Tongue Drum is made of high-quality stainless steel. Its eight octave notes offer tones across two octaves. This creates a wonderful and meditative sound similar to the tone of a handpan. A sound hole located at the bottom of the percussion can be sealed with a silicone plug to achieve an even more compact sound. Three silicone feet at the base prevent the percussion from slipping. The medium octave steel tongue drum can be played with fingers or with mallets. To start playing, simply place it on a flat surface or on your lap. The percussion comes with two wooden mallets featuring rubber heads wrapped in a soft film, as well as a beautiful carrying case with a zipper and a handle.
