Vox revisits its 1960s models with this semi-hollow Bobcat! This V90 model is equipped with 2 P-90 type pickups that are full of dynamics, offering a change from the usual 335-type tones.
The VOX quarter-body Bobcat and Lynx guitars were produced in Italy in the mid-1960s. They featured unusual pickup configurations and a distinctive look, which VOX has brought back to life with the Bobcat V90 and S66. The style of these guitars remains unchanged, but their playability has been greatly improved. Additionally, they are less prone to feedback and benefit from more powerful pickups than before.
The Bobcat V90 is equipped with a pair of custom P-90s developed by Vox. With pole magnets like those on Stratocasters, they deliver a clear and dynamic sound that contrasts with the usual expectations of a semi-hollow guitar.
