Denis Wick founded his company to address a simple yet crucial observation. The accessories he wanted did not exist! As a musician of the London Symphony Orchestra, he encountered difficulties making his instrument resonate within London's Royal Festival Hall as he wished. He therefore decided to create himself what he needed. Having become a worldwide reference for brass accessories in half a century, the company employs some of the most skilled craftsmen in Great Britain to offer each player the means to express all their talent.
Developed in collaboration with Tim Jones, principal horn of the London Symphony Orchestra, this mouthpiece incorporates the concepts of the Heritage model, with a thinner inner rim at the periphery of the mouthpiece and added weight at the bottom of the cup. The result is an easy and immediate response in the high register, smooth legatos, and a multitude of harmonics throughout the range.
