The Custom 5 is the famous micro rock n 'roll model 59', but twice as powerful! Suffice to say that it grooves! Originally called Custom Custom Custom, this pickup saw the light of day in our Custom Shop, after being claimed by players who wanted a brighter version, alnico 5, of the popular Custom Custom humbucker. It has a beautiful full sound as well as a good balance between bass and treble. This microphone is extremely versatile because it is ideal for all types of music and playing styles. Combine it with the 59 or Jazz neck model for a perfectly balanced configuration. Made in Santa Barbara, California, the Custom 5 uses an Alnico 5 bar magnet, a nickel-plated silver bottom plate, a 4-conductor wire for multiple wiring options.
