Great with a UM1. This microphone is light so I removed a spring and now it's perfect, all positions are stable. The desk mount is made with a molded part that seems sturdy.

Amazing for the price, holds up well. There is indeed a spring noise but once in place, it doesn't move. Installed with an original Aston so heavy. No problem.
